In this month’s edition we feature an intriguing article about the extraordinary life of Pipe Major William Lawrie, famous for writing the 'Battle of the Somme'.

Our recent survey about the World Pipe Band Championships was a great success. Over 44% of you think that the Worlds should be held at a different venue around the globe each year with 59% thinking that the promotion and marketing of the event is poor.
